Airush Airforce would prolly be pretty sick! They are 110cm and basically just a small switch with the flex rocker and stance tweaked for kids!.

They were out in 07 i think. Maybe try your local airush dealer!

good luck with your kid!

Hi leftsurface,

We have an Airforce board in our demo fleet. we use it for teaching kids aged 9 and up to about 12. We couple them up with midget kiddies lifejacket, XS harness and a 6m Airush DNA hybrid kite and they get going pretty well.

Kids need a special board as the stance is too wide on normal boards and the footstraps too big. The width is narrower to allow them to get an edge in the water and they are super light.

I think Airborne have a couple of Airforce boards left from last year if you are lucky. They first came out in 06 and were re-released in 07 but have been discontinued in 08 due to poor demand as you can imagine.

I may be able to hunt one down for you if you are keen.

Cheers and good winds,
