As if he hasn't got enough on the kite and SUP... One of his paddle surf waves at backdoor is in the running for wave of the winter

Here is a link to the surf line story. He was unidentified at one stage on a gnarly day. He has a decent chance of bagging the award. The view from other cameras show how critical the take-off was, and him making it out by millimetres. Comments are worth a read. Funny, one says he was only there for a drive to show his mum pipe, and decided to go out for a few.

Wow Keahi really showing what a talented waterman he is epic.
How niccolo survived that one at chopoo is beyond me.

how dose he survive that. 1 cubic meter of water = 1 tone. that alots of tones pushing you into that shallow reef.

yeah hes a freak allright ive got a little theory going on, i know we all joke about him having superglue on his feet but the dude seriously never wears shoes.... and wearing shoes when flying is pretty common practice. theres a hangy here who also doesnt wear shoes when flying because it lets him feel the windspeed. so either keahis feet do ooze the shoegoo slooze or his toehairs are like cats whiskers giving him more aerial awareness. i bet every photo of him with shoes on hes sitting down trying not to fall over
