Not likely to be at Old Bar for the long weekend. But you can be!
For those who haven't been before, Old Bar has everything. Wave spots, a huge butter flat lagoon, great surfing beaches and smooth noreasters*. And on the 29th Sept - 1 October, it also has a sh!tload of kombis, and stoked people celebrating the Old Bar Beach Festival.

There are a few options, you can stay at Namaste Beach House http://www.namastebeachhouse.com/ (give Stu a call) which is run by a fellow kiter or camp at the caravan park www.lanisonthebeach.com.au/ it books out pretty early at this time of year though. There is also some free camping spots not too far away from town I think?
At 2pm each afternoon there will be an expression session as part of the festival and the more kiters the merrier. F-One will be bringing some new goodies both kite and SUP along to play with. hope to see you there!
