Hi every. Trying to start a stoke thread here. So join in. Stories, videos, pics of what's makin your day behind the kite. Let's share some stories and keep the stoke going.

Iim only new to the sport so just happy every time I get out. Today however was the first time was really able to get going up wind. Really happy about it. Ear to ear grin. Doing the odd little pop here and there so feeling mighty cool as well :p
Putting away a dry kite with straight lines and having a blast in the sun is just making my day. Absolutely loving it. :D

Well to be fair my foot is also swollen.... Maybe there a broken bone in there? Tis but a scratch. I can hobble to the water and that's good enough for me. landing jumps harshly hurts.... who cares I got out which gives me stoke!

It seems to be a thing for kiters to have sore feet.
No green arrows anyway so spent a while giving the kites a brush and hose this arvo.

Well I didn't injure by foot kiting.... that would have been a lot more manly.

Fell over chasing the daughter round the house like a loon... smashed into a door.

<VIDEO SNIPPED>

I cannot believe you've wasted so much time and effort on putting that video together of someone's mishap on the trees. Like who cares? It happens everywhere, perhaps daily. So? Did anyone get hurt? No. Did the kite kill anyone? No. Did the guy learn a lesson. Yeah maybe.

You should be a business analyst - all blahblahblah, and no substance.

35 knots plus of cold winter wind and huge crunk boosts on a little c kite that punches through the sky like an evil wasp. And yelling out boost as loud as you can as you hurtle through the air above your mate completely out of control almost certain that you aren't going to land this one, or the next one!

awesome.

I had some 8m weather today. Road a wave from about a km upwind and out to sea all the way back to the beach as reformed half a dozen times.... sweeeet. It started off 1.5 me and finished off ankle deep whitewash. Very nice.

Surf pumped here on the north coast for the whole long weekend... The weather was picture perfect for the whole 4 days and the weekend finished with a 15 knt nthly sea-breeze that blew steady for six hours... I put my back out on Thursday and spent the entire Easter break out of the water...... Stoooooooooooooookeddddddddddd!!!!!!

3.5m ground swell, 20knots, 16 seconds, fill the gap.
