Heading down to Jervis bay next weekend, any good spots (ideally not infested with sharks whilst I body drag around like a seal ) for beginners? Even better shallow water areas?

Has anyone kited much in lake wollumboola? Would it be better suited?

The lake is okay if there is enough water and no weed in it. Haven't been in a few years so can't comment on it's current state. You can also hit the boatramp at Sanctuary Point and drag around in St Georges Basin. There it is shallow enough on the northern side of the boatramp that will keep you out of trouble.
But really, you want to be riding in Jervis Bay. The water is stunning....and ya, there might be the odd shark, but they are friendly ;)
