Depends on each individual but 136 or 139 Jaime I'd think.

Go the 136! I'm 85 kg 5,11 riding a 135x41.. Light wind is sacrificed but board is light and quick to turn and manoover

Stay away from the Jaime Pro.
Broke mine whilst under warranty and North did not want to know about it. I have posted pics etc and have also been contacted by 3 others who have also broken theirs. I now will not buy another North product.
Have a look at a Shinn Monk , Naish Motion or Monarch ( new 136 size coming in August ) or Nobile NHP or 2HD.
I did love the way the Jaime rode but would much rather something that wont let me down again .
My thoughts anyway.

RobertNaish,

Everyone has bad experiences and I can't comment on your situation as I don't know about it, but we have sold literally 100's of North boards over the past few seasons that I have been working at WA Surf and I would say that the Jaime is easily the least warrantied performance twin tip that they produce. Actually, I can't remember ever having to do a warranty claim on a broken Jaime.

Agree that the Monarch would also be a great option, the 2015 is awesome!

Hi guys,

Agree with Drew. We have sold loads of North Jaime's and if my memory is correct, I don't think we have ever had a Jaime warranty'd, nor a X-Ride. Not sure what happened to your board RobertNaish, but North are extremely good with warranty. We rarely have a warranty rejected, and more often than not even non warranty cases are sometimes accepted.

Oh and BTW, Dave Wilkie, go with the 136 unless you are looking for maximum bottom end and are prepared to compromise performance for cruising then the 139 would be ok.
