The Round the Sound Regatta will see participants compete in Windward Leeward courses on one day and complete a long distance course on the other day from the Jervoise Bay Sailing Club, around the
Cockburn Sound to Rockingham and return, a sum total distance of around 27nM over protected and semi protected open ocean. The organisers plan for the Round the Sound Race to be held on the Sat
7th March, and the Windward Leeward racing to be held on Sun 8th March. However, this will be dependent on weather conditions, and the Around the Sound may be held on the Sun 8th instead if the weather is more favourable for the trip.
Big favour to ask:
We need some volunteers for Around the Sound long distance race event, A Skipper to drive one our support rib and another to help out on the support boat.
27NM = 50KM.... and that's the distance between marks, before you add in tacks!!!
Course locked in and its a cracker for Around the Sound!

Jervoise bay, out to Carnac, all the way up to Rockingham, back down to JBSC.... YES!!!

Boating hardware has been kind enough to supply us with some flares for those that have not bought any yet. We will have a limited supply at $20 each available for purchase at the registration desk. Please let us know if you are wanting to purchase so we can get more if they are popular
