The wild west is firing with wind & waves for the last 5 day after a bit of a wind drought. The winds above 30kn this arvo with big gusts ripping across waters. Sitting the arvo out resting ,waiting for a pick up in the swell. 5 & 7m kites are the order of the day.
Both my kiting mates Radman & Skwinty are coming good from knee and ankle injuries. Radmans broken leg is getting more hours or hydrotherapy on the waves, though his backhand slash needs a bit more attention. An Sqwintys watermellon knee has reduced to normal,he is shreding again.

Been kiting in Syd the last 3 years slowly progressing - moving to Perth soon, 3 weeks in Dec then for good from 2 jan - can't f***in wait - the thought of a 5m kite is totally foreign to me - am selling my current quiver and going to load up with some new kites, boards etc - YIPEEEEE

northern nsw has been doing a greg inglis at origin ........ pretending we're queensland(cane toads) at this time of year when we are really nsw( a cockroach)........ been blowing solid northerly for the past week or so and even been riding around on a 7 on a few days (95+kg).... dont know if it is start of season out of condition or whether it's age and these old bones........ cant take much more ......must need a power band !

Just spent a couple weekends in Perf. Ummmm... Hmmmm I dont think it has been a real 25knots, I only scored solid 20knots in the gusts. Got sore bloody arms from struggling around underpowered, that's the freaking first time in years!
Maybe I need a spoon of Methylethylketoneperoxide n hardn up.
