Forecast is looking pretty shiit... haven't had a south wester for ages, and not looking good for this week either. And now with daylight savings gone, the old "after work" opportunity has diminished too...

Much sadness. I might have to take up a winter hobby like toast/crumpet eating. Or correcting people's bad spelling and grammar. Or reading the west australian and sunday times.

And yes, i know that those last two sentences technically weren't sentences.

Sigh...

No, it keeps going and going...there is almost always wind, you just need a hat.

Got a lovely hour and a half in this early this morning, with plenty of wind. Early bird gets the worm. I got out off the water, within half an hour there were about 30+kiters out, 10-20mins after that the wind dropped off to not much.

Yea, and and I'm listening to great music.

Joan Jett, Cars, Brucy..and this one makes me think of these political threads.

The season is just starting or us up here in the Northern Hemisphere. How cold do the waters become down under? I can sail year round in a wetsuit by travelling to Florida in the winter. That's something I may do next winter.

Thnaks for asking
Ankle coming along beaut. Out of plaster, crap longer term prognosis, pain subsiding swelling almost gone.
Heading back to gym this week to build up a sloppy calf muscle
Back into kiting in three more weeks or so....Just in time for the first of many many hard winter fronts.

Yep - certainly looks like.

I reckon Daylight Saving is to blame (again). If we didnt go mucking with clocks & times & set dates & such there wouldnt be this definite summer/winter line drawn in the sand. We might just find the seabreezes hanging around, on into April/May.

Vote NO to DLS.
Keep the workers at work and keep our beaches uncluttered longer.
