I'd like to send a kite board (TT) from Melbourne to Perth and need some advice on the cheapest courier option from people who have had a good experience.
Australia post is a rip off and only ship up to 105cm in length according to their website.
Help would be appreciated to save me from spending hours following up courier companies.
Cheers in advance
You'll spend a fair bit extra through a lot of companies simply because you don't have an account.
I'm shipping fragile freight around Australia every day and found AirRoad to be the best general freight company when dealing with well packed goods. TNT are the cheapest I've used coming but probably lose around 25% of the stuff you send out with them.
The other one I'd recommend is WA Freight Lines, but not sure what their rates are like for anything smaller than a pallet.
Good luck!
E-go.
+2 from me .
I have sent heaps of stuff all over the country . Never an issue.

+3 from me too, never have i had anything wrong with them.
+4 for E-go. Depot to depot to save serious coin. Put a token $100 insurance on it for a couple of bucks to play safe. Might take 4 days to arrive, but it always gets there. Second option Allied Express.
Greyhound Freight. They can carry just about anything under 10foot in length. I've transported a TT from Melb to QLD and it cost under $50, depot to depot.
