Hi All just went on the 4 day expedition with Ant from australian kite surfing surfari. [ant@australiankitesurfari.com.au] . He takes you 5 hours north of cairns to kite in a secret location that just blows 24/7. Better than yorkeys knob for wind by far. it cost $1100 for the four days but it seems to justify itself when you take into account your normal daily costs of kiting at yorkys, (ie $100 accom, $100 food, etc). The trip was way more than just kiting beacuase this spot is so isolated you get a total experience of freedom. Ant and Rob who own and run the surfari are two great blokes with a great ozzie business. I decided to go on this trip rather than overseas to support australian own companies and reduce the carbon emmissions from my plane travel from sydney. I would be happy to provide any advice to future travellers. PS Nice to meet the local crew at yorkeys, a great bunch of people. And Bruce X you are right no chicks were seen at yorkeys! PS thankyou also to captain gumby for putting me onto Australian Kitesurfing Surfari and also I did not take some wags advice and stay at turtle cove. Thanks again Ant and Rob for a great trip!
$100 on food "ETC". The etc could be anything, movie $15, reef trip $65, drugs $50 - $100, hooker easily $100 etc etc etc
Ant and Rob include all these in the $1100.00 but they usually have to flip a coin to see which one gets to be the hooker.

Ant and Rob supply most things apart from the hooker, however you may find a local bush pig as there where plenty of tracks and diggings near the water holes.
