Some ahole borrowed my pump whilst I was on the water. They used a thinner nozzle and left it on so that when I went out the next day and pumped my kite I pierced the black stopper inside the valve (as it went too deep inside the alve with the thinner nozzle) which prevents the air from coming out when you remove the nozzle after you have inflated the kite.

Does anyone have a fix for this apart from replacing the valve which is not worth the hassle?

Think you're lucky really, most people push that sharp nozzle through the valve and then through the back of the bladder, the black stopper is a push fit. Take a 1 meter section out of the zip lift the wing tips so the non return falls back in the middle and then manipulate it back in place.
Oh and check the nozzle before you pump

The black stopper got stuck in the nozzle so when I pulled it the head of the stopper snapped away from the bigger round black backing which actually stops the air from coming out - so that wont work - I need the whole new black stopper to do this - do they sell those separately? Or I could just buy a new valve and take the stopper out I guess?? Thanks.

You can get a replacement official NKB valve and they are very easy 5 minute job to install.

While you're on it, consider replacing it with a new Airush valve 2013.

Not sure about the diameter tho.

The fact with this valve is you'll never ever push the nozzle in. Goes on top instead. So much better air float, faster, and never pops out.
