Hi,

I am heading for my first Indo trip in June. It will be mainly for surf, but could not help notice a lot of kitesurfing take place there with various posts from kiters going there. I've heard Lakey peak is an option.

Is it worth taking kites with in June or is it not really the best time? What size kites would you recommend? Any tips would be very much appreciated.... Thanks from Indo Virgin

You can try northern Sumatra, around Banda Aceh

best chance for some wind in June anything from 6m to 10m kite. Waves: can be difficult spot

Thanks Puetz.

At first I thought the site had very little to offer... but if you scroll a bit further down on the homepage all the content sits right there! Best time to go (June / July), kite sizes, where not to go, how to pack, bribes, customs, etc.

Much appreciated.

And much more if you click on the "About Bali banner"... All the spot, wind charts, forecast etc...
