Hi,
I'm over in Perth until New Years from this time next week, then off to Melbourne for 3 weeks. Being stuck in London in this weather sucks the wang.
I'm just new this year to kitesurfing, and since this Northern Hemisphere summer was crap, I'm just getting the hang of riding upwind. Safety Bay seems to be the place for a guy of my abilities. I don't fancy riding at Melville, seems too much like kitesurfing the Thames. Woodies looks awesome but I don't want to get in anyones way, and from what I see on these forums, the locals are quite "protective." Then again, the concept of busy probably is different to Hayling Island on a summers day.
Apart from the usual sun stuff, is it ok riding in boardies and a long sleeve rashie? I was thinking of bringing my wettie but a 4/3 with fluid seams seems a little excessive. Also, where is a good gear shop located in those parts?
I'm so so pumped to be leaving London for a bit.
Thanks Blaster. I have the use of my mates car while he is out on the mines, so I think that seems to be the go.
