I don't think kiting is hard core.
I do think that any one that performs radical high manouvres over something hard is just plain stupid !
if kiting even had a 50th of the consequence skating does it might actually have some credibility. it's funny when you go back to skating for a while kiting seems really tame all of a sudden, even catching a massive heelside edge with boots to back slap just feels so nice compared to a little spill skating. i can't imagine how much that guy was hurting.
