Westernport, where would i kite.

yeah, so im moving to Westernport, Vicrtoria in a few months. so i was just wondering if there are any kiteable spots in close proximity.

hahahahahahahaha, do you want the good news, or the bad news???

ah boyo, lots of kiting for you, plenty of uncrowded spots for all wind directions, that's the good news.

basically you'll be reliant on either the mornington peninsula or frankston for anything resembling culture. i say either because they are distinct.

mornington peninsula = boutique bed and breakfasts and micro vineyards and toss-bag tourists

frankston = hmm, challenging, how can i put this, do you like fords or holdens, ... ok, you'll fit right in

seriously, you'll have your choice of beautiful, uncrowded beaches, but it's a bit of a drive to do much else. bring your wetty, and good luck.

good choice mat some great surf and flat water spot for nearly all wind directions.

hey frangas not that bad as long as you dont look anyone in the eye

its certainly not my choice to move to. its job related.
so does vic get some good wind.
what wind direction would be needed for frankston, and do you get it very often.

kiting in franga is **** but mornington is good in a nw balnaring in se paterson lakes right up to gnotuck is good in sw
