Write on seabreeze but . . . . . After selling my tt I feel maybe now is as good as. . . . Ok. . . Sold second tt . . . Fast great up wind and very user friendly. . . . My favorite board until I bought e actly the same in carbon. . . . Advised the buyer it is great for him and suited to what he needs. . . . First time board that gets going and gets him up wind. . . 141 x 43. . Which he was having a problems with. Now. . . . After kiting past the above mentioned going up wiind on my carbon equil. . . . On a day that was choppy to say the least.
I receive an sms from the above mentioned advising me the board doesn't go up wind and is too fast for him being freestyle orientated. He wants his money back. . .
Bemused I didn't reply . . . .
As I went past him I noted his kite flying high in the window and his board riding flat and off the wind. Which to me does not indicate the board (that I know works very well) is at fault. Until u commit and drive pressure through ur back leg going up wind and mastering any twin tip will not happen.
I hope the young man reads this and realizes the problem is him and that he has a great board that works very well. Don't blame the board for Ur inability. . . .
Feel better now
What? .... You mean you can't just buy skill????
As a retailer I see quite a few people who sadly lack ability in both SUP and/or Kiting, and they continually buy the latest and fastest/best "pro level" gear only to trash it and then trash talk it. <rolls eyes>

You can't buy love either ...
but you can rent it.
Every board sucks when they are new in my opinion. Then I get used to them.
Or perhaps my 2005 was the best board I've owned.
