Got a pair of these Hyperlites (boot and binding system) fitted to Takoon Lux Phi and they go pretty good in my opinion (not that i would know as is first time on bindings). Loving that locked in feeling!

They are a bitch to get into and out of the boots themselves before you attach to board (but thats not really a problem for obvious reasons). Bindings are realtively easily to get on and really simple for anyone who has a snowboarding background.

Cant fault them at this stage and if your thinking of going to the dark side they are a good option.

hey mate what boot did you get?

System pro bindings with Process boot. Not a fan of yellow flouro but shop did a great price. check out website: www.hyperlite.com/product.php?category=wakeboard-boots

Would a set of these make a good substitute for a pair of booties?
I want to upgrade to bindings from straps and after nearly freezing my feet off on the weekend am looking at buying booties but don't want to fork out for them if they're going to be completely redundant the second I buy bindings. Systems look like a great option since they're basically booties while not strapped in, therefore keeping your feet warm, right?

don't just limit yourself to Victoria or kiting shops there are heaps of wakeboarding shops all around Australia and with a online shop and free postage. I have found one for you www.waterskiersconnection.com.au/ you just have to know your size make friends with Ewan and try his on.

yea kite republic stock them, but there are pretty much none left all over Australia at the moment. I have a pair of size 10's for sale (pretty much unused), or if you have mini feet there are some size 7-8's in at Kite Republic. Maybe SHQ has some left or KSS as well. Wayne Ritchies might have some too.

Pretty weird question but, does anyone have a pair of these on hand to measure id love to know how wide the boots are at their widest point on the sole, how long the sole is and how tall the boot is from sole to top?

Are they more the size of a regular skate shoe or closer to snowboard boot size?
