I would like to get a kite for high wind foiling (25 knots +). My 3m Peak4 is good up to about 25 knots but above that there's too much power to be really comfortable turning on waves. How much less power does a 2.5m Hybrid generate compared to a 3m Peak?

About half a meter of power

KK,
I foil & love the drifting element - I have peaks 4/5/8 and 3.5/7.5 hybrid - The 3.5 hybrid comes out in 18 plus knots. Takes me upwind to run swell back- down wind paddle foiling conditions. Performance- way less lively than 4m so more = 5m peak. Power is down on 4m (inpart due to slower speed) but not docile . The 3.5h can hold and drift slightly off 12 oclock once the lines tighten -say carving on a swell it will loft but not so much.
At 2.5 m bound to be less powerful my guess is the slower profile will help - and less power to p4 3m. Could try PM to djdojo?? When last heard he targeted small kites higher winds and carving.
cheers AP .
