G'day everyone, having just migrated south for the winter I find myself shopping for a wetsuit for the first time. Has anyone used a hurley wettie to kite in? Looking at the phantom 202 but I have to buy online so aswell have to guess size (I'm 6 foot 1,85-90 pies). Also on the size options before L comes SL what is that? (don't laugh) Cheers for any help I'm leaning towards L size but dont want to cart around half the atlantic in my pants like some hybrid wrinkly rhino clive palmer waterbaloon.

Hi , I think the SL will be short large...unless you know your exact size in that brand , it may be tricky getting the right size straight up...good luck .

Yeah I use a Hurley Fusion in the winter. Really happy with it. Sizing is about rite and seems to be the same as RipCurl, but it will last longer.

Thanks mate, I'm locking it in, I'm also hopeing that camo pattern makes me invisible to militant right of way enforcers.

For $600 you'd hope so, mystic star, 3rd of the price , had mine 4 years, bit warm for the Midwest though

All the Hurley clothing I have had (granted, it is not much really) has fallen to bits.
T-shirt - worn 3x and two seams failed, shorts with the drawstring eyelets falling out, extra thin fabric. Used to be that surf brands had thicker material and good stitching, seems no more :(
Kids clothing umm about 4 items, was likewise poor quality. No no no Hurley.

For $600 () you can buy quality aussie and get change.

Like Flying Objects. Or RipCurl, who repaired my 10 y/o suit for free. Stuff like that

Hey I hear ya fellas, the only brand stuff I have is a North kiteboarding cap. My wife buys my clothes, I initially thought Hurley was a chicks brand but I'm owed a credit by a online shop that only sells Hurley wetsuits. Or at least the only thing I can use is a wetsuit and they only have Hurley. Sad to hear about their poor qual apparell, someone told me their parent company was nike. Anyway thanks for the advice Ill make sure to hold onto my receipt incase.
