I am finding I tend to land left shoulder into the water , richoche of the water and keep going how do i fix this.
Am I too powered up?
Am i not leaning back enough on launch?
Do I need to loop the kite?
Do I need 2 more beers on the beach?

What's happening before you land left shoulder first? I can't picture it. What happens on take off? Normally on a huge jump you have plenty of time to remain vertical. Main problem with huge jumps is coming in really fast.

Land on your feet! Board facing downwind - try to absorb some of the impact with your knees so you don't ricochet off the water on these humongous jumps.

Landing on the board after the humungus boost on port tack I seem to be going over the left front of the twin tip.I then lean back and then left I then usually richoche of my left shoulder and 80% of the time keep going.
Just busted chicken loop in half laying down a few loops today. Onlyhad about 150m to swim.
PR thats the last thing I need ,It would be good to have one with you.

If you're going to use big words, make sure you know how to spell them.

When I was working out how to jump and land, especially big stuff, pointing my board down wind, and flyind down wind was the key to making big jumps happen. Once I prepared myself for pointing down wind during the jump, the whole rotation/scuiff body position thing almost disapeared. I was jumping and trying to land across wind instead of jumping and going downwind.

Instead of trying to go in the same direction you take off in, once you pop off the water, start looking down wind and before you land, have your board facing down wind in the direction you are going.

Hope this helps and makes sense.

maybe bear upwind just a tad more right at the last second before take-off then when your in the air lean back heaps with both shoulders.

thats the way they seem to explain the problem on this dvd i've got

Try landing toeside then switching after landing. This will help a heap.

Hey MM Im not an expert in humungus jumps but lots of practice at something that is tricky makes it easier. If I see you bust one and splat, I'll let ya know whats up.
Cant remember what TT board your riding but a slightly thinner longer "gun" shape board handles way better when landing at peak speed.

You may find your left testicle is heavier than the right, this might help

Mini Mal,
Sorry, can't help you with this landing thing. Maybe ask how to do big frothy, bouncy, sliding, out of control returns to briney. Now THAT I can help with.

Jumping is compulsory, landing is optional!

Sounds like your not pointing downwind enough to me (from what you wrote), try landing with the board pointing almost dead downwind.
