How offshore is too offshore?

Looking at the graphs for this afternoon, it looks like it's going to be at worst a south easterly.

Is this likely to be too offshore for a newbie to kite safely at Pinaroo point?

Yes, Pinnaroo sticks out so even in a Southerley you can get blown downwind parallel to the coast pretty quick, and ending up quite a way out from the beach. It also gets gusty behind the point with too much Southerley,
