I'm thinking the best thing to do would be to do some more work, get another pair and then attach them to the harness.
What would you guy's do?

Mine came with a lanyard that goes around the neck or attaches to your wetsuit so if they get ripped off, they are still connected to you. Might be an option to make one yourself.
a drop of super glue behind the ears works![]()
Being serious now,I tied a bit of thin rope to the back of the band to the back of my wetie, does the job.
I've recently got a pair from a boating shop they have a wide adjustable strap that is connected to the arms and they have a big plastic lump (which is also what you use to adjust and tighten them) which is on the back which makes them float if they were to fall off.
Highly recommended. Especially after I lost quite an expensive pair that I normally use for snowboarding as they sunk!
You can get sunnies made for water sports, so they don`t sink. There`s loads of internet sites selling them. I got mine from www.fuglies.com.au . And quite cheap. from 45 bucks to 70 bucks around there. And they float. I do the strap up quite low on the back of my head, that way they don`t come off that easy when I stack.![]()
fuglies in my opinion are rubish.i had apair and they were all scratched up double time
cheap lenses.
wear a hat with a chin strap and wear your sunnies underneath.
Sea Specs float and that is fine in flat water. It doesn't help much in the surf. They don't float high enough that you can see them if you are far from them or there is much foam.
The easiest and safest thing is to tie on a safety leash and attach it to the zip pull tape on your wettie.
A leash around your neck is not a good idea unless it will break if it hooks up.
I've had a set of Sundog's with the strap on the back and I've never had them come off. I think the trick lies in making sure the strap is really snug, but most importantly, making sure it sets below the point at which your head starts to narrow.
I get $29 polaroids from caltex and a neoprene strap from the surf shop. As long as I wear a helmet they stay on no worries. I have had all sorts of water sunnies,(sea specs, dirty dog etc..) and find the cheap ones just as good as long as you use some anti fog/ anti bead stuff (like oakley hydrophobic soloution). The good thing is when you scratch them up too much you just buy another pair.
ive just got a cheap pair with some plastic tube as a strap forced over the end of the sunnies and then tie it on to the wetie zip pull thing, wearing a hat with a chin strap with the sunnies underneath works good too
