Steve is a mate of mine, he makes sensational wooden boards. A little older than Yr9 though!

He recently copied the template of a Taj FW and managed to get it lighter and stronger using Paulownia. I'm pretty keen to get him to do a run of my 5'4 Motorboat.

Anyhow, I'll let him know about this thread, he does take orders.

Isn't paulownia those freaky looking tree plantations as you head north from Gingin?

yep!! Quick growing plantation timber. Hence them trimming them up into that freaky shape.
