For this reason I detest 'brand name clothing', people walking around advertising for the company they paid for the clothing.

I acknowledge my gullibility, but I visited the site on the kite (i'm not going to type it) and this is what I found;

'Site Under Construction'

I would imagine it's a good idea to have a working website before promoting it.

I thought "Eat at Joe's" was going a bit too far..

PS - bad move on Airborne's part. One kite sold with cr@p advert (that punter had to pay for?? and is now dark wiv said company) and unlikely to sell any more trainers now word is out.

Do BWS kites come with a "Take a number and form a salivating sycophantic que" message?

C'mon now flamers.. got no humour?

BTW Andre - which company do you pimp work for?

Don't misconstrue what I said, I do like the kite and Airborne were of great service, friendly and a lot cheaper than rival companies I researched. I was just agro at the fact that I thought it was a badass Airush (which all the rest of my gear is by) trainer kite that I could get my skills back quickly with and show off to my non kiteing buddies and hopefully send them down to AKS at pinnas to get involved so I can have some kite buddys. Alas I get the website burned into my brain from constantly looking at the kite and my mates think I'm playing with a childs toy or am using it as a form of advertising...

Which actually is not a bad idea, I wonder if I could Iron on something like seabreeze.com.au or facebook.com and get royalties? ;-)

Fair nuff Indifidel.

A logo [insert BWS plug here] is inevitable on products but a website and Eat at Joe's blurb would tick me off on a product I paid for (10% off or not).

BTW Airush guys are ok and less BS than some other operations IMExp. Still think it's a dodge move tho.

I work for my own company, which is fun but it can be stressful because your wage is reliant on your ability to market yourself and service customers so they are left happy. When a company like Airush do something like this it may not be in everyone's taste but they are just doing there best to make a living the local shop is a small business makin a go of it.
If you really want to get stuck into advertizing crap try the bank, supermarket or pharmaceutical company they are bull****ting to you flat out and then making a killing, at the expense of your health and wealth. I ride 2 year old bandits they are the shizzle for surfin 4 me. The guys at airush are cool and they make great kites, in my opinion the lithium 6m last year was the surf kite of the year.
But who gives a dogs screw about a trainer kite its like you fly it 3 times u smile and then you are movin on...Maybe if it upset you so much you could have rolled it up and taken it back with your anti marketing protest. Maybe its worth putting time towards something that really matters, like Redkite or bla. On that note I am takin sum of my own advice ...C YA wen it counts

So the truth comes out, your not upset that the trainer kite you bought has advertising on it, your upset that it doesn't have airush advertising on it to make you look "cool". So your complaining that your a noob who didn't bother to look at the product you purchased before hand. In the end who gives a stuff it's a trainer kite you will probably hardly ever use it compared to your real kite.
