Too far away to see what brand, but think I did see a Cab. They prob. launched from the dog beach, meaning they climbed over the fence and launched from the nature reserve which is not allowed!

One green kite went down right in the boat lane. Just think what good vibes it would have sent if a boat got its propellers caught in the lines.........I could not give a **** what happens to the kiter...........but the poor boatie who didn't know about the lines and got his prop. ruined.

There was just not enough wind to do their trip and it was most probably started from a forbidden zone.

Greenie, they were first spotted off Attadale near Mosman heading down wind then I lost interest as I was mentoring.

Old man out.

Er Gruezi.. I think you need to confirm a few more facts before you start calling people kn wits etc. You seem to have assumed that they launched in the reserve, possibly a Cab etc etc. If you saw them do that then fair enough, but just back the truck up a tad until you know for sure.

And cut down on the angry pills too.

So did the kiters actually cause any prop/boaty probs or what?

BTW - I am not shy about having a go at tools who don't do the righty but i only report what i have seen and not what i have assumed. Bit of a diff there.

if he was a competent boatie he would have a) seen the kiter b) given him a wide berth c) no doubt stopped to see if he was ok

I have seen people set up and launch from the attadale dog exersise area but there are gates to walk through to the sand so no damage is done to native veg. Only on an easterly but not a sea breeze.
Wierd half their luck would of been a mega **** session what was is 10-12 knts.
