Long time lurker, first time poster.
Last night I had an epiphany, dreaming of dark slides handle passes- I just realised what was wrong in my life. What’s been my nemesis, my thorn in progression.
Then it dawned on me like spotlights on a roo- I need to be sponsored.
For years, I believe it was down to practice and experience. But lets cut to the chase and face it, 100% of sponsored riders are better kiters, better looking and have a way bigger Instagram account. It's really no wonder they are happier.
I promise to state on all social media Facebook/instagram/twitter/seabreeze that your bar/kite/board is the best I have ever tried and 2018 gear runs rings around 2017 gear, and wait till you see whats coming out in 2019 and 2020. Game changing.
Some say, I kite like the voice of an angel. I am only willing to ride for only the top Fiji and New Zealand kite manufactures, I dont really want to slow my progression by riding them big Euro brands, they only care about rip stop material and not my goals.
Remember kids- the only thing holding you back is not yourself.
If you are a first time poster. Who is the underoath imposter that has made the previous 2077 posts?
Stop wrecking his dream of becoming an expert sponsored kiter, by letting facts get in the way.
Facts have no place in a sponsored kiter's vocabulary.

Plummet, don't you have a 6m swell and 33knot breeze to catch?

Sadly no!. 0.8m swell and a cranken 5.4 to 6.7 knots........
plumbob allways craps on about the naki and everytime he does i just roll my eyes at the fact that if he was even half serious about his sport hed chuck the kids in crab pots along with the misso and live in a tent ontop of the lion at Piha

had nothing below 10 footers for a month there few years back
its like listening to some beginner crap on how (insert knockoff kite brand that does not own their own factory name here) is the best in the world and cheaper then the top 5 brands, just because they're uncertified instructor told them so as they were fleecing them on 2nd rate gear.
okay maybe its not that bad but still. plenty of good spots around that are much better
as far as your sponsorship tender oath. skip the sponsorship and just go straight for the jugular.
download a free copy of surfplan (google it) load up the default 5 strut c kite.

then just "sponsor" everyone so they do your marketing for you but still charge them to cover costs.
that last bit is important :)

Its pulled up to a stonking 8.8 to 12.2 knots northerly flat as fark. Perfect foiling weather. Might be time to fire up the 12 chrono and foilboard! What do you recon Miser short I go out?
You know things are bad when you start reading the wind strength in decimal places.
Yes indeed bad indeed. But with this foil malarkey bad is the new good!
i liked you better when you went landboarding/buggying when the wind was light :)
this foiling nonsense is just mowing the lawn, and last i heard gardens were illegal in new zealand
im grounded for a couple more days so post up some pics so i can vicariously live thru your light wind kiting experience :D
