Anything that moves is going to wear more. I'm impressed the strap is in such good condition.
FWIW, the Dynabar is ripping up the webbing around the spreader bar in the same manner too, but not as severally. I'm sure if my flab didn't bulge out it'd be less severe.
. . . turn it around the other way?
If you spin it the other way the bar slides to your right hip and I'm a natural so it would defeat the point of a sliding setup for me. I get it has to wear, they should have beefed up the material. The problem is now that the white tubing is not fixed so it rides up and the hook comes up and over. If they had some big arse stitching through the white tube it wouldn't move and not wear the webbing, in fact you could do away with the webbing altogether.

You don't say :D
Then the stitching would wear
That'll be the CL and QR hardware being dragged across it when the kite is above you. Tell Mystic? They might have a suggestion, but it looks like a case of S. H. to me.
Less than a year, but how many sessions?
The two face doesn't slide hip to hip, it only goes from centre to either hip depending on your stance. My local shop contacted the previous mystic dealer (as they are a 2014 model) bought brand new last July. Basically the Mystic dealer (previous not current) said tough Farken luck.
It's probably done between 50- 70 sessions maybe.
Still riding it but when loaded up the white tubing moves (due to not being fixed) up and allows the sliding bar to dig in or pinch your wetter/rashie.
Haven't chased up the new dealer, I suppose it's not really his issue.
Zip ties at the moment keeping my spredder bar from exploding
kemp go to rocky and the bloke at the key cutting and shoe fixing joint can fix your harness easy he did mine several years ago. ask him to do some box stitching with some thin leather both sides mine worked for few years later before got new harness altogether. cost was..... $15
Yeh got my mystic harness in the sail maker at the moment. I think it's from boosting too much. Pain in the ass tho
My Mystic Warrior is dead. Took it to the canvas shop for fixing.... no dice.
Its about 2 years old. Lasted half as long and the previous warrior.

Unpick all the stitching to exsposed the innerds
Then take it
Most upholsterers/ canvas guys hate in plucking the stitching
My old ion madtrix harness did this after a few sessions and had it fixed up as the wouldn't replace it
Average price for a new harness is $200. I buy a new one every year regardless of condition of my old one.
If I kite 50-100 times a year, that's roughly 2-4 dollars per session.....
Small cost for peace of mind

100 times, that's alright! Iv gone through 3 harness in 4 months
Kemp buddy how is this possible?
Are these 3 harnesses the same brand?
I haven't got tabs on myself - but I'm a kite looping machine, that includes some pretty heavy crashes. I even neck drag myself from time to time. My gear/body takes a beating.
I have only used 2 harnesses in 5 years, (ION HUMMER / APEX) the old one is still fine, I have just replaced the spreader bar after 3 years as the weld cracked and I was going up to shark bay for a week.
These harness are not cheap, but your forking out less money than you have in the past 4 months.
I think its time to look for a new brand of harness.
Something to think about.
Thats super easy to fix if thats the only problem. Cut off old webbing as close as possible while still allowing sewing machine access, then sew on new webbing flat on flat overlapped 50-60mm, sew in box pattern with an X through the middle, twice, and it will be as good as new. If a sailmaker won't do it, find another one of a truck tarp or shadesail manufacturer (maybe even a boot maker).

The "odd job" people at shopping centres also do it. I've done it twice on my current harness.
