20/10 Wind went offshore during downwinder from City Beach to Trigg. By the time I relaunched my kite, board was out of sight. Subsequent scan of beach from dunes revealed no sight of board as the offshore built in intensity.
15/11 Received private message through sea breeze that board has been located - 400km north on a remote beach at the Abrohlos Islands.
Dude from Gero on fishing trip finds it washed up on a beach there and then tracked me down via seabreeze.com.au website.
Exchanged contact details and board is packed amazingly in bubble wrap and cardboard and sent to my front door. Dude couldn't get a cost from the courier so sent it and told me he'd give me the cost when the invoice arrived.
I am a big believer in Karma and Dude from Gero is one of those good guys in the world that deserves everything good that comes his way.
thought this was a thread about thailand, left dissapointed but lucky your board was caught by the abrolhos islands otherwise susilo bambang yudhoyono would have kept your board for himself
Thats better than a hundred Thai happy endings!
I dunno..... 100 thai happy endings would make you pretty happy.
Unless of course it was 100 thai happy endings one after the other. After happy ending number 16 things would start smart.
Would it still be a happy ending if you found out she had a six inch schlong? ![]()
![]()
depends!. did you find out before, during or after.
Before hand. No happy ending.
during..... punching and showering.
after. lets face it you received happy ending! but there will still be punching and showering with a good load of disgust lingering for a while.
Seeing as lips have no gender I guess it doesn't really matter ![]()
Man I wish the freakin wind would come sooner , take my mind off things...

Hahaha!
Reminds me of the scene where the little dude figures it out, after the fact.
Who's old enough to know the movie?
Classic movie!
Great story. There are some really awesome people here in Gero.
I dropped my wallet in the Bunnings carpark here last week and it was found and turned in to the folks at Bunnings straight away, even with the cash that was inside. Being a relative newcomer to the region (less than a year ago) it's great to see this sort of thing. I agree -- these folks deserve good payback in the form of return karma!
P.S. Don't forget -- always put your phone number on your board!

Mate I reckon you've got a few karma credits built up ya self, and maybe that's why you got your board back!! Pubie ![]()
Either he was a kind sort or your board was crap and he was happy to return it![]()
The board was like brand new before its epic adventure with only minor damage to the rails post adventure - $120 in repairs and almost like new again.
