Call him. I called him the other day and met him later that afternoon at his house and he helped me out with my kite.

He has just left for a holiday though. should be back in 10 days

FYI, Chris sent a 2014 7m Argo demo to me last month that I've been riding here in typical Geraldton summer conditions and can only say great things about it. Highly recommend it. If you are in the area and want to borrow it for a go, feel free to PM me and I'll arrange to get it to you for a trial.

DISCLAIMER: I don't work for Griffin and don't get paid by Griffin but have been flying this demo kite on loan from Chris for a couple of months. Chris is also a long-time friend. You can try the kite and decide for yourself if you're keen to have a go.

Cauncy, I think you might be more excited by a kite like the Trx. The Argo is a really great kite, good all rounder, and one I use to teach my students, but the Trx is a very exciting kite to fly. Shame you are not passing the south coast of NSW, I always am happy to let someone go for a spin.

Iv'e had a fly of the Argo 7m, it's a well balanced unit in strong winds, works well as a wave kite.
Mark Barnett was here with the TRX 12m last week, didn't get a chance to fly that one but it certainly worked well for him in litter winds down the line, looked quick.
Sounds like the TRX is designed more for waves. Maybe we will get a demo sent this way?

Cauncy, just sent you a PM. Phone me when you're in the area and I'll organise to get the kite to you.
