I just got the new gopro bacpac LCD screen downloaded the firmware correctly charged the cam up when I connect the bacpac nothing happens on the LCD. I then turn the camera off then turn it on it then starts to make an electronic gronding sound as if it wants to start but can't. Tried this several times. You then can't turn the camera off just have to take thebattry out. Any answers please will be avoid thing if it will work. Frustrating say the least.
You downloaded the firmware - but didn't install it on the camera, you need to hold down different buttons at different times to install it - watch the whole install movie on the Gopro Website.
Yep did that got the camera to show UP for upload then the camera shut down as it was suposed to. Ill redo that see if anything changes

I had to reload the firmware which as before the camera did what I thought it was supposed to do! Showed on the screen UP for upload then shut down. I watched the video again and it is supposed to show the UP and the front LED must flash whilst uploading mine didnot the first two times Third time lucky I did the upload sequence and this time it showed UP for upload and the RED Led flased whilst uploading
Tis was frustrating but now it works great
