Pumped up the kite the other day, only to find out that one of the rear lines has stretched a fair bit. Super cool.

Just wondering what is a good brand of lines, preferably ones that dont stretch. Average price, im thinking from a little bit of research that im up for around 160-180.

And also a place in Brissy that sells them.

Cheers,

Lemo

All lines stretch a bit, especially if you put your kite through some harsh treatment. If its a front line you probably don't know it's stretched until you measure it. You'll just think your kite is misbehaving a bit.

If you attach one end to a nail on a fence, stretch them taut and see which one has stretched, then adjust the leader line length (or tie a couple of knots in them) at the bar end.

I do it a couple of times a season. This year I replaced my lines with Cabrinha lines.

Hey Lemo

The Ozone lines are by far the most superior on the market and they are the best value for money too.

A 4 line 25M set is $129, you can pick them up from Kitepower Brisbane, in Clontarf/Redcliffe, the lijes are no thicker than any other brand and are rated at 360kg, so they are especially good for bigger people. We have the least issue with stretch with these linesets, other shops can purchase them from an Ozone distributor.

Sent you PM Lemo. We have plenty of lines in stock within your budget. If your linesare still good, we also have pigtails you might be able to fix the problem for just $10.
