All kites have seen substantial reinforcements, always been a tough one with the edge imho as its a iconic kite for racers and kiters who love to go nuts , for me it's great to see the race element taking a back seat to its free riding performance, I'd give my right nut to get conditions like that and an edge

I gave you a green thumb Cauncy because that video had A) a dude boosting in waves and B) sheep!.... heheheh

In fact boosting in epic waves with not a surfboard in sight. Even better. Now if he was on a mutant, boosted like that and then landed on and rode one of those waves it would be my own personal nirvana.

Cauncy you better quit your job, jump on a plane, sever your right nut and come and live in the naki, we have many days a year like that here.

Wish I could a afford some new edges. Mine are getting old and worn now.

Whaaaaaaaaat? surely you jump equally on both tacks?

Amusingly i'm probably a bit better at jumping on my wrong tack as that's the outward facing tack at my local........

PS Of your ever going to visit to it nov/december. Thats the best wind/swell combo of the year.

Ive just come back from Cork Ireland having kited in almost the exact conditions with smoother water between sets like 1:28 but windier - absolute heaven, it was like a dream come true and big jumps are ridiculously easy... 3 beaches within half hour drive Sth E - Sth and Sth W.

I think everyone should make a Pilgramage at least Once in their lifetime to their Perfect location - be it jump or waveride

Great vid , the music was a bit dramatic, but I liked it . The inclusion of the sheep was pure genius. In fact , I've been so inspired by this , I'm going to dig out my old 7 metre Vapor 2 ,which is still in great nick , and make up a bar for it this avo for the upcoming season .

Thanks for posting

Well I suppose I can jump both tacks but prefer left foot forward especially when going real big. Yeh man to me that video is what kiting is all about. Love it.

Grew up next to the North Sea , spent a heap of time around Ireland and northern Scotland, diver at Kiel for a bit,
These regions have imho some of the wildest oceans I've ever seen, the video I'd say doesn't do the conditions justice,
Ryan has a kite school on the west coast, and is a ksp competitor he rips on a strapless board too, he's not afraid of challenging conditions around crab island and coffin rocks,
Would love a trip there and tiree island in Scotland, 5/4 6/8 wetsuit land

17.9 is a reading he has to his name but unsure if it was that session, couple of jumps looked near 20 if you take kite height into consideration
What a great clip though definitely a session that'd be with you for a while
I must of watched it a dozen times with envy

I was thinking it was Plumms when I was watching it. But then it ended and there was no wave to wave boosts, landing toe-side into a carve on the next one. That's when I realised it wasn't him.

Watch for a 25-35 knot westerly forecast 4m swell. Or south easterly

The best time for cranken wind is from now to late December, After that it becomes more balmy seabreases and smaller surf.

The best spot will be dependant on the wind angle/swell. Don't bother coming on with a forecast with N in it.
