theres some pretty full on rhetoric re: the gnaraloo station lease holder, that makes you wonder about the bias in the article and whether there is a middle ground that would work better. not trying to have a foot in both camps, but i was a little shocked at the defamation level which mean he is either prone to making enemies and may be half as bad as they have said, or has seriously p*ssed someone off by accident! ![]()
Not sure about the deeper politics of the place. If you've been there, it does appear that the place is well looked-after from an eco point of view -- at least what you can see on the face of it. There's already plenty enough infrastructure to support what most people want to go there for.
More development, no matter what form of it, isn't going to do the place any good.
It would be a crime to allow the place become another Kuta Beach.
