Hey All,
The stomp pad on my Slingshot Pit seems to be delaminating. I wouldn't mind having a crack at gluing it back together before I just remove it and apply a new one. Any hot tips on what would be good to use. I'm thinking a rubber cement or wetsuit repair glue. Any other ideas?
Much appreciated..
Edit: Just to clarify, it's not peeling off the board, the top layer of the pad is separating from the base layer.

This is what a local board repairer recommended to me for sticking on deck grip, it seems to work for sticking stuff to stuff...

But new
Or used
Or ask your local shoe repair if you can find one
Have yet to have any glue work more than 3-6 months
I'd be real careful using contact glue ... I used contact on a bodyboard once and it melted the internal foam like alien acid blood.
Contact glue Ados or similar is the correct glue for EVA footpads, The reason it ate the boogie board is the EPS core, nothing to do with footpads
... similar thing happened to me, used some sellys kwik-grip, painted both sides til touch dry and stuck back togeather, 9 months later, all good, easy fix! ![]()
