Notice my grip is coming loose on my bar today near the center. Any ideas of what glue is best to use? Can I just use epoxy resin?

Try Selleys Kwik Grip Gel .Been using it for years on kiting bars and windsurfing booms works well.Apply to both surfaces leave for around 10 mins and then stick together Cheers

whats the best way to stop the slingshot lettering from coming off and the surrounding area getting torn to pieces?

My Slingshot bar is doing that too!

The exact same thing is also happening to my SS footpads, Araldite glue failed for me .

I like slingshot's design of kites and boards but it seems they skimp on the simple things such as footpads and bar and lines sets - the braiding on the lines is messing up completely with one of my bridle lines becoming so frayed it just broke. The red dye on their lines both the bridle and the bar fades to white in a matter of months, accompanied by the bar pulleys and screws that rust so easily its ridiculous. It's a pity, because so far it is the only thing that puts me off them - the small things, I also wish I had thicker lines, I don't know how mine manage to haul my heavy ass into the air and not break! But apparently they've fixed this up in their 2009 kites.
