Hi Kitesurfin,

New Gear will set you back around $3000 for board, Kite and Harness and lessons will be around $630 for 6 hours total (for 1 on 1 radio lessons).

For around $3300 you can get new gear and free lessons with us (incl 1 x 1 on 1 and then free 1 on 4 radio lessons).

Second hand gear, if you can find decent stuff, will set you back around $1600 for good late model gear.

Buy a new harness

Welcome!

i would buy used kite, used board, new harness.

kite - 800
board - 500
harness - 200

i would buy a fairly crappy first kite, this way you dont Destroy you brand new baby by doing noobish things; ie. kites in trees, bad self launching, dropping in the surf etc. you can certainly upgrade say 6 months down the track when you are comfy with riding controlled.

i believe a board say 3 years old, will defiantly do the job. however, unlike kites, a board will last you very long; so maybe its worth buying a decent board.

most importantly, buy the best harness. i made the mistake of buying a cheap harness (150ish), and it rubbed me dry like the chaif between a fat chicks legs. again, a harness will last, unless you get FAT!!!

anyway, just buy the best gear that you can/ are willing to afford.

**end life story**

HOPE THIS HELPS KITESURFIN
