For those that are in the area, a small group will be departing Miaboolya beach North of Carnarvon and heading to the Blow-holes for a down-winder approximately 40 km on Saturday the 27th of October.
Naturally we will be pertaking in several beverages on completion of the exercise. Bring your swag, esky and food.
We will arrange a support vessel to follow the last kiter and some tranport can be arranged.
All welcome, further info PM me....
Bring your smallest kites cos it's just a tad windy at the moment.....
hey toross, hows it going?
sounds like an awesome day. is it open to blow-ins from exmouth, i might try to get some crew keen and drive down for the weekend?
scotty
how much futher is it from town to the blows, if its only an extra 5-10 kms it should still be fun and be an interesting run along the sandbars and channels for wildlife.
Hows it going Stamp. All welcome for the adventure. It's some virgin country to cover so the more the merrier. Speak to you soon or give us a call on 0400648706
Wind is starting to look sketchy, may be a late run, we will need 3 hours of daylight to be safe to make 45km's.
I may have found a jet ski and pilot to follow us too the Blowholes.
We can always cruse up the beach 10km in our cars to shorten the ride. We will fall in a heap at the end of 44km.
Do you know anyone who has a shack at the Blowies? Be good to get out of the wind for the Saturday night.
Praying to the wind Gods!!
Change in departure venue fellas, we will be leaving from the rivermouth beach instead of miaboolya and meeting at mick's at 12.30
