All the best man, I applaud you. Nice work. It appalls me the **** people leave behind. I'm sure I saw a winder from some kite lines in there....
Nice autistic artistic photography. Round of applause for getting rid of the rubbish, but taking it all home and photographing it for us.....?
hey if u find a black element hat can i have it back please, i lost it out to see when i was driving the ski back to the harbour during corejam
Its fantastic that your picking up rubbish Gruzitski.
Careful of discarded needles and catching hepititis.
only.....
i find taking it home and taking photos is a bit wierd.
Reli, I am doing science! Can we figure out from the photos where the stuff is coming from?.....I did group in to some categories such as Fisho, Dog Walkers, Kiters, Campers, and mothers with little kids (nappies). To which of the above groups are the bottles, cans, food and drink stuff related to?
The people on this forum should be able to help out with this one as it is a judgment call which I am not qualified to make.
And Reli, you know I'm weird and do weird stuff.
Oh, I also have a Work Clearance Certificate, Name & # of some one at Police Complaints Admin, and heaps of purchase receipts......which I would not publish.
Nice work Gruezi, i am like you and can't walk past rubbish on the beach without picking it up.
It makes me mad to think that people come to the beach for the beauty of the place but leave their crap behind.(Especially when there are bins everywhere)
If we can get the psych happening within the local kiting community that every time they go to their spot to bring a plastic bag and just pick up things they see, take it home and dispose of it, then we as kiters will certainly be noticed by the public as good caring people.............and that is where we need to go.
I've been to some of the most remote beaches on the planet. One thing is universal, plastic garbage.
Good on you for doing your part. Hopefully it inspires a bit more of this sort of thing. I can't walk past rubbish and just leave it but I draw the line at nappies. Maybe we should ban children at Perth beaches.
The one thing i've noticed. It's always the actual water users (kiteboarders, surfers) that will take the time to pick it up. I can't say I've ever seen a fisherman on the beach doing their part. I'm sure there is a few out there but for the most part I see them depositing it.
