ie from Sydney to QLD. ?

i assume the post office wont do it because of size.

Think you may need a ABN to use these guys.

I've priced many and found getting my local kite shop to post it thru their courier is almost always cheapest. Maybe you need an extra nice local kite shop, im not sure, but I got the cardboard and packing tape from a new board in the shop and slipped it over my board to protect it and posted that day and cheap as. wont name shop in case they aren't meant to let customers use their freight, Im not sure.

Pack and Send are great. May be a little pricey compared to Greyhound but I have never had any problems with them in the past

Not sure what you had sent by pack 'n' send but I got a quote from them to freight a "$150 beginners board" from QLD to SA...........they said....(exact quote)

"On the information provided it would cost approximately $975.00 to pack and send the kiteboard from Townsville to Lyndock. To cover the item for loss or damage would be an additional $12.00. There is a $500 excess."

Ended up buying a large 166 board from WA
Greyhound Freight, Perth to home $50.

Definately Shop around before accepting a Pack 'n' Send quote!!

I've also found pack and send to be very expensive. The best courier price i found every time before using the shop was coast and regional . just gotta make sure they do your area. always cheaper than the rest. here are their details. they reply with a quote quickly too. so worth while comparing to what ever else you find. Kind regards

Try Fastway Couriers they will do freight for individuals and you can estimate a price on line from their website.

We buy guitars, do them up and then sell them again and use Pack and Send all the time. I have also sent a Kite and Board to Melbourne and it only cost me $125. Guitars in their hard cases cost about $95 - $125. It also depends on whether you are sending it to a city or a regional area.

But everyone has their own choices on which couriers to use.
