Due to the dangerous nature of Footie the government of NSW is considering a ban. What Barry Hall did today could have killed a nice young man...the person should be locked up or what.

Here's a new sport,

Wrap everyone in bubble wrap, sit in the corner and die of old age.

Not much fun but at least you'll look good in the coffin!

No injuries, no risk, doesn't affect others.......the perfect sport!

It's called single-mother syndrome here. We can't get many kids to play rugby for our local club anymore. Mums don't like to see their precious little darlings tackled or dirty.

my mate said in auckland they baned kids from climbing trees for F&%$ sake, no wonder all their is left to do in this world is sit at home n' watch tv, play computer games, do drugs and get fat, coz their is nothing left to do. yeah i blame single mothers but i also blame insurance companys that don't want any1 makeing a clame, hay! if it's made illegal the insurance company doesn't need to pay up, because they broke the law. lets make everything illegal.
maby im just really bord waiting for this s/e to kick in.

unfortunatelly our society is heading this way... bans on this, bans on that... constant lowering of speed limits (instead of teaching idots how to drive or making it harder to get license - but then they couldn't sell as many cars or keep making more and more money on fines)... i couldn't take my 6 year old to dodgem cars because he was 2 cm short of the minimum height (despite a younger but slightly taller kid who was allowed, plus i've taken him to dodgems in other countries when he was 3 years old)... then all the limitations and non-sense rules at activity parks et... i could name dozens of similar and frustrating examples that i've experienced in this "society" in recent years.... it's the limited and narrowminded view of the general public that just agree with everything they are served with (and insurance companies as snoidberg said), but consequentially and sadly it affects those of us who strive to experience life beyond an average coutch potato...

i think we all chip in, buy an island somewhere and form a new government. We can call the place Kiteopia...
