Any ideas on who makes a specific big jump -high impact footpad (not strap )

For the times you dont quite get the kite timing right for the feather soft landings & its more like youve thrown yerself out of a two storey building

I've got a set of Mystic d30 pads. They have excellent shock absorbtion. Don't think they are designed specifically for high jump but they do the job.

I have some Liquid force comp straps and pads which are doing an excellent job at making the landing softer, I think they have an air cussion or something like that under the heel.

That said I am looking at selling them because they hold my feet locked a bit too much in, which I find dangerous for situations when I want to ditch the board quickly.

I now use the normal Nobile ones, which are less comfy but easier to ditch... all about personal taste and trade-off.

Horses for Courses - I'm a big fan of the North Foot pads.

Having said that I've seen a "certain some one" smash the crap out of the Light Wave foot pads - so I guess there ok too

Hi Guys,

The new North boards will come with a changeable insert cushion that goes under the heel from underside of the footpad so you can custom the feel of your footpads from soft to medium to hard.

Can't wait to get our new stock and demo's

Cheers,

KH

I haven't tried any, but the new 2010 Naish straps look super comfy.

Few photos here. (bottom of the page)

Look like slippers - pretty ugly.

"New design with "wake-boots outside" for amazing support and "foot-strap inside" for heel angle freedom." WTF - it's a strap.
