F-one leader line rope type?

They're about 4mm, hollow braid. Started fraying a bit around the bar ends.
What type of rope is it? Feels softer than the dyneema flying lines. Been told it looks like pre-stretched polyester.
Could this 3mm dyneema be used without sleeving?

Will be putting in the splices shown & some figure 8 trim knots. F-one replacements are available for $60, just wanted to try doing it myself.

Yes Dyneema
call ocean 12 and comes also in ocean 24 I beleive.Google it u will track it down.
get the higher braid if possible ,ive tried tried the lower number braides and found they dont wear as well

So are leader lines hollow braid polyester? Dyneema doesn't seem to have as tight a plait / weave (not sure on terminology). Same line's used on flagging.
Regarding splicing, the stitching must be holding alot of the load. Read that the tail of the long bury should be about 50 times the rope's diameter for dyneema & less for polyester.
