Looks like Fone decided to stick to the free ride foils same as the other big brands including LF, Cabrinha.I saw their prototype racing foil in Mexico at the Pro Tour but it was not working very well.Their top riders including Maxime, Romain, Julien Kernuer just ordered some KFA foils. Its just too hard to make the high end, freeride/racing foils.

Longitudinal screw, as used by Magma foils, gives a very quick assembly/disassembly. For what it's worth - dunno how many actually fully disassemble their foil regularly.

Possibly worrying to see carbon peg & sleeve joints used for the assembly - all the others who tried this dropped it quickly as it isn't strong in the long term - but maybe the screw will keep it all tight and secure.

I have the Magma foil and yes, it is quick to disassemble but - I rarely do it. Moreover the "peg and sleeve" style fitting does loosen over time and so the only time I pull it apart is to rewrap it with plumbing tape to keep everything rock solid. Other than that it's been a good wing. Super, super strong and good for 18 knots upwind.
