Anyone care to tell me the story on this one

It looks very painful...

Doing a kiteloop so close to those groins in Kurnell is a bit dicey...


So what have we?

Kiter at 7m
Kite at 2m, rapidly racing to crash LE first
Board at 8m

Anyone care to fill in the following few seconds, newton's law's and speculation of how we got there?

Photo is at kurnell - he got there by driving past cronulla or possibly sailing over fromm dolls / brighton...

He is downwind of the groyne, so it's not as bad as it looks. Actually i doubt it is a kite loop, as the wind is heading straight towards the camera man from the boat (or there abouts) most likely a dodgy transition or jump. Looks like he has dropped the bar and has a suicide leash, cause the kite is still full of air.

Speculation on outcome - OUCH!
