I've been doing it for 5 years and I'm a bit over it actually.
Having another sport that's not reliant on the weather is good... or one that enjoys eat my crack easterlies.

Me I jump on my mountain bike and ride.
Well.... to be fair mountain biking is my primary sport..... when conditions are crap for biking but good for kiting I go kiting.

You have some great trails around your neck of the woods.
One of my favorite MTB rides ever was the trails around Rotorua ![]()
We have had a run of low wind easterlies over here too, so I've resorted to dragging this down the beach and have done a heap of runs the full length of 7 mile using my 10m Reo V5
