I am about to plan a trip from 08/04 until 13/04, and was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a beginner spot in Oz (shallow water etc.). I've been looking through many posts and some people recommend North QLD (with the nasty box jelly), Whitehaven Beach ...
Any other recommendations for good wind and nice water? I've just managed to get on the board but can't stably hold the pace yet, and upwind is a challenge so far as well.
