Yeah what toppleover said, only if it has fresh water on it. They can go mouldy if left packed up wet with fresh water.
Last time I did that all my valves peeled off even though I reduced the pressure but I guess the newer kites have fixed that problem.
Load of crap. If you wash it in tap water, the material will wear, if you leave it inflated forever , the valves will wear. If you kite is getting mouldy, your not using it enough.

I've never had a valve fall off. I think your doing it wrong.
I don't have that much space available so deflate the kite but leave the struts inflated, letting a bit of air out (of the struts) to ease the pressure. Then roll the kite up and stand it up on the trailing edge (just lean it against the wall). It always dries out over night.
I use one of these, just lay the kite loosely on it and it dries we'll without taking up too much room. Mines hung between two shelves about a metre apart so you need very little room.

Gotcha. I have a rope strung out across the backyard and hang it up via the bridle. Achieves the same thing.

True, tap water is a b1tch. Don't even wash my dog in it, let alone my clothes, car, dishes, or heaven forbid the crown jewels.

It's not rocket-science.
If kite is dirty, covered in sand and salt, then spread it out over a few chairs or hang it up somehow and rinse off. Allow to dry completely then pack.
If kite is not dirty really, just roll it up and store.
You'll find the zips on the bag go way before the kite goes mouldy. And if it does it's because you have not let it dry enough

I wanted to know if leaving the kite inflated overnight (8/10h) might cause damage to the bladders or stitches etc etc

Kites a designed to be inflated. I don't see a problem. Have never had a problem. If you are worried then go for half inflation. That still holds the shape and will have very little pressure on valves/stitching.

You should do that regularly, to test if there are any leaks. Most kites deflate over 12 to 24 hours anyway, but if after 6 hours your kite has flopped, then there is a leak and it could get worse like out on the water (!!).
To answer your question - no, no problem. The only way the valves will peel from this, is if those glues are weakening, which happens over time.
Again another reason you should pump up the kite and leave it to test this.
My personal opinion is that any additional handling of the kite that is not related to actual kitesurfing only reduces the kites life time.
It's the same with my surfboards, I used to rinse them down after every use and ended up dropping one in the process and cracked the tip.
Unless I do some actual kite maintenance, I leave it loosely packed in the bag.
