Hi guys,

Check out the latest Cabrinha edit that just dropped from our trip to the north shore of Hawaii. Really stoked to be a part of this trip.

"With strong ties to the island of Oahu Pete Cabrinha, Twig Baker, Keahi de Aboitiz and Reo Stevens kick it up a notch with some great kitsufing at the birth place of surfing. Sit back and enjoy this extended edit of the boys kicking it on Oahu's North Shore"

What a dream come true. Awesome vid, i'm heading there in December so will be taking notes of the kites spots!

If you have a sec can you tell me what you look for in a kite-surfboard?

Do you ride epoxy or PE?

How tall are you and how tall is your board? what typical dimensions do you ride? Width in particular.

Been doing some big strapless airs on a surfboard which i recently lost when an offshore squall hit me, i watched it drift away in hurricane style winds from safety. Now i want to invest in an exxy one.

I ride a bit of both. All the boards in this video are just the production epoxy moulded ones. I also use the PU boards sometimes as well. They do work well they just don't last nearly as long as they will pressure ding a lot easier.

I ride a few different boards. I use the skillet in smaller waves which is 5'6 by 18 1/4"
I use the 5'10 s quad a lot too. This board works the best for me in most conditions and I like it when it gets bigger as well. Its 5'10 by 18 1/2" I think.

Cheers,
Keahi

Great Vid - Great Surfing !
Congrats on your World title, lets get some more contests going in the KSP Eh !

I'm a long time surfer, and KiteSurfing is the reason why I got into this sport. I got sick and tired of sitting on the beach on windy days. I've only been doing it for a year now and I'm finally able to consistently go up and downwind. Now I'm just about to get out on my surfboard and try to integrate my surfing skills with my Kiting.

You guys are right I also see KiteSurfing as a logical extension of Surfing. More Power to you guys, keep spreading the word.
