Think I need to be more specific.

Guys the bag that seems to fit what I'm looking for is a 155cm mystic venom double bag, but F me if I can get one in Australia!! I just want a simple day bag as I take two TTs down to the beach every time I go. A light wind and a normal TT, and most the damage is done in the car!!

Got a travel big ass zipper dual separation thingy, just want a simple board bag that has a separator so I don't have to disassemble my boards.

Mystic seems to have the only one, but the freight from over seas is more than the bloody bag due to their volumetric weight.

Any other options you can think off that might be for sale down under?? They all seem bloody great whopping travel things.

And before you say get two kite bags, F that, just want the one bag that fits two TTs with a separator.

Also its a pain in the ass carrying from the shed with two or three kites and also if there is a walk to the beach, carrying two sometimes three boards. Just one bag, that can fit two Tts that can be carried and won't damage them all intact ready to use!

And wtf is going on with mystic importation...they are bloody everywhere overseas.

Ideas folks?

Let us know when you have completed your research Eppo; I am sure it'll be thorough; informative and of benefit to the rest of us and i'm not being sarcastic!!!

I have found flying objects board bags to be of excellent quality but not sure if they do a double TT?? they do have an updated range out.

Righto I have replied mate. Cheers for your help.

And weta...yeh have been pouring over the net and the mystic seems the only one that does what I want, but cauncy seems to think there is another option. Hope so. Let ya know.

Sick of carrying both boards and all the gear from the shed and to the beach. Seems a little thing but the amount I kite (whenever there is wind) it would be worth it. Plus on those road trips for the weekend, one board bag, all together not sht floating about everywhere.

Got two excellent TT bags made in Bali $30-40ea, last year, shoulder straps, handle, quality stitching and materials, made to order from my measurements.....sure they could knock up something to order with a divider ... they have a multitude of surfboard bags over there but were happy to make kite TT bags to order in 1-2 days.... if you know someone travelling that way may be worth a go? they are a bit bulky to get home tho ....

Just get something made up
lots of people do that sort of thing
ask neil at HTL to cut up an old trashed kite, add a bit of thin padding and stitch it all together.
Instant customised double board bag in any colour or kite design you like.
Simples

Have seen one bag just like you are asking for once and I think it was just 2 bags sowen back to back it worked a treat for him, the extra padding from to backs of bag was good . He even got a little bag sewed on the side for his fins to go in for those long trips away . Just a thought save some money if you have already got bags . I am full of them here is another one -: why not put plastic zipper on them so you could zipp two together than if you only need 1 just unzip the other . Hot dam that is a great idea (sorry got a bit excited ) . Sweeeet as .

Yeh I know what you mean. Like the travel bags that can be zipped together, then taken apart so you can just take the carry bag to the beach. Did this in Bali.

Thing is the carry case that fits your boards does not have a divider, hence when I went to exmouth this year I and to dismantle the boards to put them in. Fine for that sort of trip but not for every day use.

But a double bag that each individual bag is zipped together and can be separated is indeed a good idea.

Cauncy is looking into a bag he has, the mystic distributors (can't remember the name just now, Australia kitesurfing or something g is looking for me) and these other ideas may be implemented. Been talking to puppett as well. Thanks crew.

Is it just me or trying to get your head around the bags inside configuration etc, and dimensions (width, length and height) is bloody near impossible unless someone has made a clip about it.

You think they wold have more information to help customers choose the right one.

Have you checked out Wake Board Bags too?
Took two boards, two kites, lines etc in one last time I went to Fiji.
Borrowed it from a mate, pretty sure it is a KGB bag.
Worth checking

Does it have a divider to separate the boards fully constructed ?

Not that I remember, I had one board on the bottom and 2 kites in between with other board on top.
I removed my fins for the journey too, just to safe

Yeh remember this is just a day bag, or even for travelling north/south for a few days. Its not a travel bag so no kites or anything else will be in it, but thanks. I might look into the wakeboard range anyhow. I have an old wakeboard bag from sht 2003 or something like that jimmy lewis board I bought off Jason from Westoz. Still working, solid bloody thing.

Been talking to eppo on this one. Looking at options.
It would seem there would be a good market for exactly what he wants - lightweight 2 boards with divider.
Not so easy as you would expect.
For other readers a few options we have discussed:

Dakine Duffel - lightweight with more than enough for 2 boards (+ a couple of kites if youre packing for a trip)
But no divider bw boards - imo not an issue as boards stacked pads to pads cant scratch or damage.

Prolimit Multi Travel Combo. This is a ripper.
Two separate bags you can zip together for trips as one pc of luggage.
The bottom bag makes a great regular day bag for 2 boards.
Bottom bag has tuck away backpack straps.
Great option if you want a day bag & occassional trip gear pack.

To puppet that duffel kite bag is only 38 wide my barge (as cauncy called it, lol) is 44 so no good.

Pads to pads is fine as long as the grab handle is taken off, otherwise you do get potential damage. No the only one really on the market is the mystic venom, but I have found out today there are none in the country whatsoever.

Oh well, keep on keeping on, see what I can find. Cheers for all the help,

Chow

Have you tried the snowboard bag makers? Check with the ski/ snowboard shops around the country and I am pretty sure you will find what you are looking for and due to the larger market, snowboard bags are usually cheaper.
